The main campus is in Jonesboro, Arkansas, with an additional campus in Querétaro, Mexico. With 11 colleges, A-State offers a range of academic pursuits such as 140+ undergraduate and graduate fields, international studies area, and the largest online program in the state. What is the history of Arkansas State University?

In 1909, the Arkansas legislature established the First District Agricultural School as a local horticultural practice school. Robert W. Glover, a Missionary Baptist pastor, called for four state horticultural colleges, including the future ASU. In 1967, the legislature granted the college university status and renamed Arkansas State University.

Which NCAA Sports do the Red Wolves Play?

The sports teams compete as NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference members.

The Red Wolf's athletic teams include baseball, basketball (M+W), bowling, cross-country, football, golf (M+W), soccer, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.

In 2012, the football team became Sun Belt Conference champions for two years straight and finished the regular season with a 9-3 record, with its first bowl game victory. They became the Sun Belt Conference championed a third time in 2013. Go, Red Wolves!
